EEA family permit application form and documents - 2015

Hi All,

I am a non-EEA member and my wife is from Poland. we are living in Netherlands. We want to apply for EEA family permit (as I got a job in UK) based on she will be travelling with me. I have some questions regarding the form and documents required for EEA permit.

Q1- Who is the applicant for EEA permit, e.g. me (non-EEA member) or my wife (EEA national)?

Q2- It is very confusing whice parts are filled by applicant and which by sponsor. Could anyone please help here ( or have experience with).

Q3- As we are not living in UK, so do we need to show a proof of rental contarct or address in UK to apply for EEA permit? if not what should we fill in staying details in UK?

Q4- Do we have to upload the documents after finishing the form or have to bring along when we go for apointment at visa center?

1) You (non-EEA national) are the applicant.
The purpose of the family permit is to grant you easier entry into UK.

What it does

An EEA family permit makes it easier and quicker to enter the UK. You might not get a boarding pass and could experience major delays without one.

You may be refused entry into the UK if you don’t have an EEA family permit

Your spouse (EEA national) can simply use their passport to gain entry.
