| spider Junior Member Member # 4522 | Posted July 23, 2002 09:50 PM Good evening!I'm new here, and I saw your answer to witt ( march 14,02:39pm).Could you help me,please? The father of my baby is a non europ.com.man,he wants to come to live in Belgium with us,his divorce procedure should be finished in october 2002.One company can offer him a job,but without a regular contract (so,no work permit,...).Is there a way for me to help him to come legally here?I must add that I have no job for the moment,so the authorities may think I'm not able to support him.Which steps do I have to take for the wedding?I have a lot of other questions, but I think that's enough for today. Thanks a lot for helping me!! |
| Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted August 27, 2002 05:27 PM Hi Spider If you are a Belgian citizen and you marry the father of your baby, then he should be able to work in Belgium without a standard work permit. You will need to register your marriage at the local commune. Good luck! Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
