Would the degree earned in an australian university have to be of some certain level in order to apply for residency , after the degree would have been successfully completed ?

i.e. Considering a graduate diploma which would take only one year to complete ... or a graduate certificate which would take 6 months ...

Would the duration of the studies affect in any way the eligibility to apply for residency ?

Hi

I believe that the degree course would need to have lasted at least 12 months or one academic year and result in a tertiary diploma.

I hope this helps!
