| epoussif Junior Member Member # 7403 | Posted January 06, 2004 09:47 PM I'm living in USA from last February (2003)working with an H1B visa. My current employer is downsizing the company and it's pretty possible that I'll be without my job in a prompt future. I started looking for a new job but ALL THE EMPLOYERS and recruiters answer me "NO SPONSORSHIP" at this time. I need only an H1B transfer, because I'm just here. They don't need to do an entire process. But this appears to be a political situation. I just burn my old job in Argentina when I came here and now it's not possible to get nothing in Argentina again. And I'm feeling discriminated here. Nobody want me, not because my knowledge or experience, only because my visa status. Any idea ? ... any help ? |

Many company , these days, have their partner companies and IF ITS A CONTRACTOR POSITION they get sponsorship from them and then do a Corp to Corp deal with them. its a routine thing and all legal. in some cases sponsor agencies also inform INS who potential client is going to be. It also depends what skill set you have and your willingness to relocate anywhere in US. I suggest you should check www.monster.com , www.hotjobs.com . You must create resume at these two sites. good luck. |
