You might get it in time. Do not worry. I submitted on 27th January just 2 days before you. And, OCI is dispatched from MOIA on 18th Feb. Yours will reach by beginning of next week. Relax.

Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

I think when you apply in person, jurisdiction rule applies but when applying through post the juridiction does not matter, I have already clarified from HCI London through e-mail. That is strange. When I inquired through e-mail they informed me that for applying in person or post I need to apply ...

Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

Hi DKS, I believe you have sent your application to CGI Birmingham ? Hi nm, Yes unfortunetly, I sent my application to Birmingham, I think it was not a great decision, I should have sent to London for faster processing and despatch. Re: Tuberculosis test or chest X-ray for Tier 2 General visa

Hi,

Yes, you are correct. I entered UK twice in 2008 and 2009 on a 6 month visitor visa and was never asked for a x-ray. Will update once I apply for my Tier 2 UK visa.

Re: Tuberculosis test or chest X-ray for Tier 2 General visa

Hi Betvidi, Thanks for sharing your opinion. My understanding was the same like yours, "where from one enters UK and not country of birth". Just want to get an opinion to know whether my interpretation of law was right. When I was a student in France and when I entered UK in 2008 and 2009 as a short ...

Re: Tuberculosis test or chest X-ray for Tier 2 General visa

Thanks Manci for providing the link. But, my question still remains unanswered. By UK immigration law, being an Indian citizen I am required to provide a chest x-ray for tuberculosis. But being in US on a work visa I do not have an authorized clinic where I can get the test done. Is it fine if I ...
