It generally takes as long as it takes. I applied in March and it was a long drawn out process. You can only really make a complaint after 6 months. I only got my approval this month (really long wait) I am amazed at the disparity in the timescales

I registered at the British Council in Lusaka, Zambia to sit the exam in 2001. What would the difference be? There is no stipulation on the website if there is a difference. I registered to sit the exam on my own along with 4 other exams and not with any particular school. Im really confused now.
