All the documents that you submit should be original except the passport. You can send a copy of the passport properly authorized .

Yea i did talk to the consultant while I was in UK, but you can also do the same while you are in India.

how is the job market for Software

I have recently applied for HSMP through an agency in UK. I am currently based outside UK. Wanted to know, how long does it take for the processing to be completed? And, how is the job market in the Software field.
