Re: Which form - ILR for dependents

Thank you Zimba, A couple of more question that came up as I'm filling the form. I cannot add any further applicants (sister), is this normal? ie: should make an application for each kid? Also, I don't know why it took me to set (f) - now I have to start again and do the application on set (o ...

Re: Which form - ILR for dependents

Another question which just came up as I'm filling my son's ILR application: Q: The person you are joining or accompanying? if he was a PBS dependent on me (father) shall the answer be myself or shall I put his mother's name who recently had a successful ILR outcome? Ps: later in the application ...

Re: Which form - ILR for dependents

I'm not sure if one of us is missing something. How could I have saved money if I applied for both my wife and son together? my understanding is each applicant needs to pay the fees? I paid £3200 for her super-priority service and that would have doubled if I included him in the application as well. ...

Re: Which form - ILR for dependents

Dear Zimba, Why do you think it's a poor judgement on my part? I have lost £10,000 on a previous application and didn't want to risk it again especially that my wife's ILR wasn't straightforward. I did seek advice on this forum before her application and it didn't sound to be an issue. Nevertheless, ...

Re: Which form - ILR for dependents

I didn't include them in their mother's application as I was worried if it gets rejected then I'll lose £10,000 as I did 3 years ago (their mother was still on a Tier 2 visa). The kids were on my PBS tier 2 dependent, I am now British and the mother has settled with an ILR so hopefully no valid ...

Which form - ILR for dependents

Hi everyone, I'm applying for an ILR for my 12 year old son. He has been with us since we came to the UK. Me (father): British by naturalization 2019 Mother: ILR - Tier 2 completed 5 years route 2021 My questions are 1- Which form to use for my son? is it set (o)? 2- Do I need to provide any ...

Re: ILR employer letter

Thanks for the reply.

Just because I'm a little bit worried, shall I apply for myself for an ILR and once approved apply for my kids? I don't want to take the risk of losing £££ if they all get rejected because of me.

ILR employer letter

Hi, I'm applying for an ILR in 4 weeks and I have 2 points that are puzzling me: Point -1: I'm a doctor in training and currently on a 5 years tier 2 visa which started on 10-08-2016 and will expire on 20-09-2021. I'm currently employed till 03-09-2021 (end of my training period) and have secured a ...

Re: Citizenship application refused

The refusal letter continue to say the following:

If you wish to become a british citizen, a fresh application will be required. It’s open to you to re-apply at any time but you may wish to note that an application made before 22 Feb 2020 is unlikely to be successful.

Re: Citizenship application refused

Thanks again. It exactly states the following As this application was received on 13 February 2020, you would have had to be in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2015. As you were not in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2015, this requirement is not met. The Secretary of State has therefore refused ...

Re: Citizenship application refused

Yes that was the exact wording And I have been living here continually since March 2014. I’m not sure what evidence will they need? - passport has been scanned completely including the visas - tier 2 biometrics sent - letter from all three employers back after to March 2014 and with no gaps in e ...

Rejection reason : not living in the UK before my application date. Facts: Lived in the UK on tier 2 continuously since ...

Re: Guidance and advice for naturalization

I’ll be most grateful if someone can help with my queries and reassure me of best course of action. I got my ILR (5 years of tier 2 visa as a doctor) on 13th February 2019. I have started the online application for naturalization a couple of weeks ago but not sure if I can submit online and pay the f ...

Thanks again Vinny. How will home office now the date of their mum’s visa expiry? I’ve applied their extension on the PBS dependent section and have used my CoS / biometric information given they have always been on my visa? Re: ILR for dependents - refused

Thank Vinny, yes she is a doctor in training hence she had to switch her visa. I am ...

ILR for dependents - refused

Hi, Sadly, the ILR application for my daughter was refused today under paragraph 319J of immigration role. I was granted my ILR last month only (applied alone) for financial reasons and to avoid a massive loss of money in case it was turned down (Tier 2 PBS migrant). we have both spent 5 years and 1 ...
