However, I usually withdraw cash from my account and give it to someone in the UK, who then sends the money to my family back home in my local currency, as the exchange rate is better than the bank rate. Supporting my family back home while on UC

Hi, I migrated to Universal Credit after my Child Tax Credit was stopped. I am a full-time worker currently supporting my family back home by sending them £450 to £550 for food and rent. I would like to know if it's okay that I am helping my family while receiving Universal Credit?

UC may say because you expect to be outside GB more than one month, despite a mid return, that the exceptions in Reg 11 UC Regs 2013 do not apply and your claim should be disallowed. Can you Amber answer my questions please UC will count any days as in GB where the person is in GB for only part of the day - so they don't count either the day of departure or the day of return as days outside GB. From my understanding on UC you can be outside uk for one month calendar (not 28 days ...

my wife has Cambridge English Key (KET) which is not any longer approved by the Home Office and i read on home office site only B1 level qualification can be used again if used in a previous successful application

is it true?
