Re: English language evidence and PBS is no more available

Okay...

Finally, called home office today.

For everybody's benefit, PBS printouts are no more an option even if you were awarded ILR after 2013.

You have to have either statement of compatibility or b1 level certificate.

Re: English language evidence and PBS is no more available

That link doesn't give any clear answer am afraid.

If I tick on met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October , do I need to provide any proof?
If yes, what it could be?

English language evidence and PBS is no more available

Hi, I was granted ILR last March 2015. For the proof of English language, I gave printouts of PBS calculator last time and it worked. For British Citizenship, the guidance notes say I can supply the printouts of PBS calculator but it is no more possible as PBS calculator is not active on home office...

Re: appointment tomorrow - documents for vacations

If you had been out of UK in last 5 years (doesn't matter paid official or personal), you have to provide an evidence for that. Normally a letter from employer, air ticket invoices, boarding passes etc should do the job.

Paid Leaves

In last five years, I have been on 3 months paid leaves (out of UK) in the span of 1 month each.

Question:
Do I need to submit the letter for these absences from employer for ILR?

Documents Age

Hi,

I heard none of the documents should be older than month for Tier 1 Visa? For example, bank statements, salary slips, reference letter etc MUST NOT be older than month?

I looked at https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-general but didn't find any such information.

Anybody?

Switzerland

Hi Guys,

Somebody told me that you do not need visa to go to Switzerland (for tour purposes) if you are on Tier-1 visa? Is that correct?

Th guy tells me that he has been to Switzerland himself on Tier-1 visa.

It sounds a bit dodgy to me and could not find any information on internet even. Anybody?
