I sent my passport to Swansea and got it back in 5 working days. It helps to send it via special post along with a self addressed special envelope for them to send it back. I don't know about conversion from PSW to Tier 1. So i may not be the best person to answer this.

If your 2830 per month earning was in the UK, then you cant use the uplift ratio.

No. If you show 2830 for 7 months, your earnings will be 19810 GBP and you will fall in the Under 25,000 slab which will give you 0 points. When I said, pro rata, i meant that they will not consider 2830 per month for 12 months which will put you in 30,000 to 34,999 slab. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk ...

The guidelines mention that you can claim points for any period less than 12 months but they will not be considered on a pro rata basis.
