Re: I will not return my BRP within 5 Days.

That makes two of us. I attended ceremony on the 20th and I've not returned mine either.
Not that I need it for anything but the new rule is simply not applicable to me. Some of us are just stubborn, right?

Re: Return BRP after Citizenship Ceremony within 5 days

I believe the intention would be for anyone who has naturalised to return the BRP so that they can destroy it securely. Just to let everyone know that this requirement & intention was explained at the ceremony I attended today. Everything that's now stated around this In the new AN form & guidance ...

Re: Apply for Naturalisation a day early?

Yes CR001, but NCS have stated on their website that they will send application by Next Day delivery which means my date of application will be 6th November 2015.
This is what I am confused about. Given my ILR is 6th November 2014, should I be applying ON 6th November 2015 or AFTER 6th November 2015?

Apply for Naturalisation a day early?

My BRP and ILR approval letter are both dated 6th November 2014. I have booked NCS appointment for 5th November 2015 which means they will send it Next Day Delivery and it will arrive at HO on 6th November. Is this one day too early? Worth risking? I (mis)calculated my 12 months to end on 5th ...

I called just now and was told they are currently dealing with July applications and my case is waiting to be allocated to a caseworking team. I was kind of disappointed as I applied on 11 August. But my Biometric Invitation Letter got lost in the post so that delayed things by 3 weeks. I wonder if ...

Is this acceptable? I've read the UKBA policy guidance but could ...
