Re: Elderly ill mother

I work as a computer programmer so will probably work for a company in Germany. Ideally I would like to get things done in the Uk if possible. Can my gf sponsor my mom from the UK ? "The UK has a test called centre of life test, which will require a lot more than residence for few months." ??

Re: Elderly ill mother

Yes she is working full time just like myself. She doesnt earn as much as I do though but still decent wages.

I havent spoken to her about my moms sponsorship but I guess she will if I ask her to.

Shouldnt I be sponsoring my mom as her son rather than my partner ?

Hi

I have an appointment with Nationality Checking Service at Barking and Dagenham on 5th of April. And I was wandering if NCS centre matters in terms of how long it takes UKBA to process the application?

many thanks

ILR Application Expedition

Hi I sent my ILR application on 30th of Oct and am still awaiting results. My father is going for a heart by pass operation on the 9th of January so will probably have to withdraw my application. However loosing £970 for no real crime really really hurts. I have seen the expedition process mentioned ...

Can I revoke my application?

Hi All I sent my ILR application about 2 weeks ago and got an acknowledgement as well. Pretty straight forward case of 1.5 year work permit and 3.5 years of Tier-1 with the same company. My problem is that my father will be going for a ByPass operation back home around beginning of Dec. Can I expect ...

Re: employment terminated/redundancy 2 months before ILR

If you have to achieve points to qualify for ILR under T1G then you should show the required income in the last year of your ILR. As far as i know, one has to show salary in a continuous 12 month period starting at any time in last 15 months. So OP should be ok, however please wait for someone to ...

Hi All I am currently on a tier-1 visa and will be applying for ILR in November2011. When I apply for the ILR can I claim my employment/earnings to be from Sep2010 till Sep2011. Hi Rahul

I think you just need to finish 5 years continous period in the UK. It can be fully on either work-permit or tier1 or it can be a mix of both.

cheers

Awarded more points than Claimed for Earnings

Hi All I have a bit of a confusion. I just got extension for my tier-1 visa on the 18th. In my application I mentioned that my base salary is 27k(the band that I claimed), but I get allowances for living away from home and therefore end up making about 35K(mentioned in my tax returns). In the form ...

tier-1 extension fee

Hi guys

I am applying for my tier1 extension next month and just got hold of the form. The payment details page says the fee is £1000 which seems very steep to me considering its just an extension application.

Please let me know if (desperately hoping ) I am wrong ?

many thanks

how many points for age?

Hi Guys

I will be applying for a Tier 1 extension in July/11. And I wanted to know how many points will I get for my age? I am 30 right now.

I got the original visa in July/08 and back then I was 28 and got full 20 points for the age.

thanks in advance :)
