Yes, your hubby needs to enrol his biometrics again, the invitation letter will get you in 1 or 2 months. They need proof it's the same person who applied 2 year ago. I had to take my biometrics twice as well.

Thanks Apaiva, UKBA has an obscure way to operate. But I'm sure they got tired of me!! I sent lots of letters and faxes with a copy of my itinerary and explaining my reasons for travelling. Not sure this helped a little or I was lucky to have a "fast" (4months) caseworker dealing with my application ...

I wonder why you have to wait to the end of August to get your papers back, how long do they take to get those biometrics permits ready? Anyways, hope the wait ends soon!!

I'm in the same boat!! Sent application the 10th, they got it next day but still waiting for their confirmation letter. Hopefully is not lost but gathering dust on someones desk. :(
