Should I go for IELTS / ESOL ?

Hi Everyone,
I came to UK on HSMP (issued:Nov 2007) in Feb 2008, got my Tier 1 in Jan 2010 and ILR in Jan 2013.
I provided a letter issued by University of the Punjab (Pakistan) for my degree (B.Sc. Hons Computer Science) to prove the English language ability for my hsmp application which I did not have to provide later for further visa applications.
I have also got UK NARIC letter mentioning that my degree is comparable / equivalent to UK Bachelor degree because Tier 1 point was not awarding the points in 2010 at that time.
I am now looking to apply for Citizenship but confused by this new English language requirement.
Although Tier 1 points calculator is now awarding points for my degree yet not for English language.
Is UK NARIC degree comparison letter enough to fulfill the language requirement or will i have to go for ESOL / IELTS?
If the letter is not enough then which test should i go for IELTS or ESOL? Pls correct me if I am wrong, in my knowledge i will have to attend classes for ESOL and my nearest ESOL centre is 80 miles away or i will have to book an ESOL test at one of the open centres in London (3 hours drive) but I can attempts IELTS in one of the local universities.
Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks
