HI

I got my ILR on ILR on 28 june 2013 and before that i was on tier 1 general which was granted on 10 july 2008 .

i came to this country in feb 2004

now my question is when can i apply for naturalization ?

can i apply on 28 june 2014 or do i have to wait till 10 july 2014 to complete my 5 years on tier 1 general (10 july 2008 to 10 july 2014) and 1 year on ILR (from 28 june 2013 to 28 june 2014)

Any help will be really appreciated.

apply one year after ilr from 28 june 2014 onwards. naturalisation is 5 years residency counting backwards from dateHo receives your application and will be 1 year ilr and 4 years tier 1, 2009-2014. unless you are married to a Bc, then you can apply now based on 3 years residence.

maker sure you were physically present exactly 5 years ago, to the day, when ho receives your application.
