My wife is applying for BC tommorrow via NCS and she wants to change her maiden name to my surname.

Please help can we do this at this point, when filling up AN FORM? Can i write my surname and attach marriage certificate.

Her Current passport holds her Maiden Name.

Please help....Did any one face this issue before?

Hi,

My wife has arrived in UK on Indian passport which was in her maiden name; however when she applied for naturalization she applied on married name (my surname) and submitted marriage certifice as an evidence.

She got her naturlization certificate with married name and also got British passport.

Also one of my wife's friend did the same thing and she got naturalization certificate on married name (She has not yet applied for British Passport) But I don't think there should be an issue as she has already got naturlization certificate on married name.
