Hi Guys, sorry for a late update on my status.

Like to share that my ILR application has been successful at Solihul PEO toward end of last year.

***A THANKS FROM ME AND MY GF TO ALL THE MODERATORS AND ALSO THE MEMBERS FOR SHARING THE INFORMATOIN AND ASKING ALL THE QUESTIONS ONE WOULD HAVE IN THEIR MIND! GOOD LUCK TO ALL****

Case summary:
1) I have entered UK on WP in DEC 2006 and completed 2 years.
2) Applied for Teir1G on Application/Refusal/Appeal/Success between NOV 2008 - JULY2009.
3)Job less for NOV2008 until MARCH 2010 except for few seasonal jobs.
4) ILR eligiblity - NOV2011
5) ILR Success - SOLIHUL PEO on 22/DEC/2011.

I really enjoyed my experience at SOLIHUL. I was considerably quite possibly due to approaching holiday season. Staff was extremely kind and allowed my non-applicatant GF to come with me.

I was seen within 2 mins of my security checks, although, my appointment was 30 mins later.

I was asked a lot of questions about my Appeal and previous employment. Nothing much about current employment.

Towards the end, I had a good conversation with officer about hometown and its history. He then let me go and said, come back in 2 hours for the stamped ILR.

Paid the fees using LLOYDS TSB - VISA DEBIT CARD

Hi,

I have PEO appointment next week and have following question about the form.

Q1. 6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This
refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of
the period of stay on which this application is based.

1- came as student in Sept 2005.
2- 4 Nov 2006 WP1 approved
3- 20 Nov 2006 FLR approved (PEO)
4- Eligible to apply ILR 20 Nov 2011.
5- PEO appointment 19April 2012 (Claiming 5 years period 20April 2007 - 19April 2012)

What would be the answer to above question? My perception is either 20Nov 2006 or 20April 2007. I will appreciate your quick response. I don't think that it will be a date when i first arrived in the UK isn't it?

If you were already in UK, you need to put the date you switched to a category (WP in your case) which leads to settlement.

sorry for a late response? hope you already got your ILR.

Your ILR application is based on your WP and not your student visa. Therefore, the WP (FLR) stamp is the start of your 5 year clock.
" beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based"

20-NOV-2006

BTW, why u claiming from April 2007?
