January 2013 Time Line Set(M)

Hi All,

After reading through this forum i was expecting a long wait, however i have a timeline here that may give some hope to all those who are in progress of the UKBA terror.

Applied ILR SET(M): 30/01/13 (used checking service)
Acknowledgement received: 04/02/13
Payment deducted: 04/02/13
Biometric letter: 22/02/13
Biometric enrollement: 22/02/13
Biometric card received: 27/03/13

total time: 1 month 27 days

Back ground information,

USA national, entered the UK on 1 year student visa and then followed on to a 2 year unmarried partnership visa.

very fast very happy, maybe the UKBA have turned a corner. Good luck all!!!!!

Well that might not be absolutely true. I have been in contact with various people who were American, Canadian and Australian with similar situations. They all seem to be around the 4-5 month time line. All I'm saying is there is hope that the UKBA may have turned a corner, at least with Set(M) applications.

The fact you used the SCS more than likely expedited the application.
