Hi Guys,

I am applying IRL in few days and wondering if you can check the document list and advise if I am missing something? It's based on 5 years of Tier 1 General and I have been working for same employer throughout.

Document List

• Form SET (O)
• Passports
• Photo graphs(2 each)
• BRPs
• Appointment booking letter
• Covering letter
• Life in the UK
• Online Salary Slips(stamped and signed by HR)
• P60 for last 5 years
• Bank Statements
• Letter from employer confirming leave(130 days in total absence and all paid)
• Marriage Certificate
• Land ownership Certificate
• Joint account bank statement
• Council tax
• Utility bills
• NHS appointment letter and registration card
• Credit card statements
• Various other invoices and delivery notes
• Dependants Driver’s license(paper part)
• BRP letters
• Photo Copies of all documents apart from application form and cover letter

Seems good, for cohabitation one joint letter or a letter each for every 4 months over the last 2 years from a total of at least 3 different sources should suffice. I assume you are applying from 28 days before your 5 years?

Thanks for the reply.
We only have one source of joint document i.e our joint bank account statement. I get that statement every 3 months. I am thinking to include one statement then miss the next one and include the following on so basically statement after every six months which covers 3 months period. Is that ok?
I do however have letters, utility bills, credit card statements and invoices on our individual name which covers last 2 years.

My current leave expires on 12th of September and initial leave was granted on 22nd of September 2008. My appointment is tomorrow so it is about 25 days before completion of 5 years according to my calculation.

Yes you've got plenty, include the joint statements with two other individual letters each and should be fine, let us know how you get on, good luck.

During the online appointment booking process in a beginning a question they ask which confuse me.

Which category of leave are you applying for?

1 Tier 1 (General)
2 Tier 2
3 Other Main Applicant
4 Dependent

Right now I am on Tier 1(General) in my 5th year. My visa is about to finish in oct 2013 So, I am going to applying for SET(O) for ILR.

Do you have any idea that which option do I need to choose.

If I remember correctly, I selected SET(O) from drop down and on the next screen I selected Tier 1 General as that is what my application is based on.

There is no option for SET(O) in the ukba calculator. So you need assess you self as if you were applying for tier 1 extension.

You'll still need to use normal calculator.
Check the link for instructions on how to use UKBA calculator to calculate points for settlement.

So guys, I had my appointment today for ILR SET(O) at Glasgow PEO. I have jumped on the boat with those unlucky ones who had their application delayed due to UKBA's marvellous IT system. Here is how it went.

Application Type: ILR SET(O) based on 5 years Tier 1 General along with 1 dependant.
Appointment: 11:50AM
Arrival: 11:00
Security: 11:05
Token Issued: 12:30
Case Registration: 12:35
Registration Complete: 12:45
Biometrics taken: 13:30
Sent out for lunch: 13:40
Came Back: 15:45
Sent home: 16:00

We had to wait for an hour and half just for token and we were only told about system issues when we were called for case registration.
After biometrics, they ask us to go for lunch and come back at 15:30. We arrived back at 15:45 and were told that decision couldn't be made at 16:00.

Almost everybody was sent home today without decision with no letter given. We have been promised that they'll call use tomorrow between 8AM and 10AM with a decision.
Good thing is that we have been given Glasgow PEO's contact number so we don't have to chase with call centre.

Lets see what happens tomorrow.

That is what I am hoping. My case is very straight forward without any criminal history at all.

Just got a call from PEO confirm ILR approval.

They hadn't called in morning so I called them around 11AM. They advised they are still working on cases and will call us as soon decision is made.

I can finally relax
