I got my first Tier 2 ICT visa on 30 July 2009. I entered the UK on 8 August 2009. My current visa (after 2nd extension) is valid until December 2015.

In ILR SET(O) form, Question no. 7.11. How long have you lived in the UK?

If I will apply for ILR 28 days before the first UK entry date (i.e. 2nd July). Do I need to answer as 4 years and 11 months or 5 years?

Also, In Section 9, D1. Please confirm whether you have spent a continuous period of 5 years?

Should it be Yes, If I will apply 28 days before completing 5 years?

Thanks in advance.

Hi sc9,
Answer to your first question should be exact number of years, date, and days. Don't worry if you are not writing it as 5 years. figure is not important as long as you are eligible.

Second one, yes you have spent a continuous period provided you did not stay longer than allowed number of days outside the country in last 5 years. short answer is YES.

good luck!
