I can't start this post by thanking enough to all of the moderators (especially Amber and CR001) and others for all their help in my run up to this moment which was I should say although was a straight forward application, was a source of worry given the amount of money involved

I applied using the standard docs set (back ground T1 (G) which I won't bore you with (unless interested). However I will highlight the few things I noticed

- absolute politeness of UKBA staff at Cardiff. Greeting you from start, very clear instructions and guidance which really puts you at ease
- Although you submit two, they return back one photo (well, at least they did in my case)
- you don't speak to a case worker unless they have a query. Hand in your docs, do biometrics and then you sit and kill time. For me it took approx 2hrs from start
- very clean settings with baby changing toilets
- case worker(at times) come out and have a chat with you either for clarifications or updates ( they did for two ppl next to me)

Recommendations

- take a book, magazine, iPad or any device to kill time
- carry a drink although there is a coffee machine available in waiting area

Hope this is helpful. Next mission now baby's MN1.

Thanks for everything
Wins
