ILR for dependent

Hi all
I am faced with a confusing scenario. Please if you can help it will be great.

My wife entered the UK before July 2012( Feb 2012 to be precise) as dependent when I was on a Tier 1 General Visa. Subsequently I got my ILR in November 2012. Its July 2014 now.My wife has stayed with me continuously since without any breaks.

My question is is my wife already eligible to apply for dependent ILR under the 2 year rule(Feb 2012-Jan 2014) or does she come under the 5 year rule? Why I am asking this is because When she came into the UK i was not settled then. The rules sound a bit confusing in their wordings. Hence I thought I ask someone who may know this or have already been able to successfully apply under similar situations.

Your inputs will be appreciated

Birdy

On what basis did you receive ILR? 5 years PBS or 10 years Long Residence?

Sorry but can you explain what is confusing? The rules clearly say that your partners are eligible for 2 years route if they were granted partner visa before 9th July 2012!

What am I missing here?

2 years mate, I am in similar position and documents clearly say that.

One of the good ways to find out on your own for your peace of mind is do this quick questionnaire and it will detail you:

Thanks.

I was confused because the old ukba statement was a bit confusing. The new wordings are much more clearer. Thanks for all the links.
and Thanks for your help
