Date of ILR appointment

Hello Seniors,

I am planning to apply ILR once I'll complete 5 years in UK. As all of you know first thing one should know the exact date when one will be eligible for ILR . Please help me if I got my date correct .

1. Visa Tier 2 (INT COM TRAN) : 18th December 2009

2. Entered in UK: 23rd January 2010

3. Visa renewed : Type T2 ICT EST STAFF Leave to Remain : 26th Jan 2011

4. Visa renewed : Type T2 ICT Long Term Leave to Remain : 20th Jan 2012

5. Visa renewed : Type T2 ICT Long Term Leave to Remain : 30th Dec 2013 ( Valid until 18th Jan 2016 )

Remain outside of UK : Not more than 70 days

I have read that one can apply 28 days before completion of 5 years and date if your visa/entry clearance was issued provided you entered the UK within 3 months of that date so visa issue date will be considered to calculate 5 days .

1. So can I consider 18th Jan 2009 as my start date ?
2. As per 28 days rule, can I apply for ILR on 20th November 2014 ?

Regards,
Hooplakid

You become eligible for ILR on 23 jan 2015 minus 28 days.

Roughly 25/26 dec 2014 pls do the maths for exact date.

Its 5 years (-28 d) from ur first uk entry stamp. Simple!

5 years (-28days) from first UK stamp (i.e. visa valid date)

or

5 years (-28days) from first entry date into the UK( date of 1st immigration stamp in the UK)

which is right ?
obviously we have that 90 day rule as well?

I guess it would be 20th November, though I would defer this to the senior members.

Thanks
