Tier 1 +2 to ILR

Hi,

I would really appreciate if anyone would be able to clarify the following
I will be eligible to apply for ILR in May this year since I would have stayed in the UK for at least 5 years under suitable visa - from 2010 to 2013 under general tier 1 and from then onwards under general tier 2 visa. As I was looking at the forms and guidance, I noticed that we have to submit evidence to prove that we were definitely earning certain amount before I applied for general tier 1 visa - yes, tier 1 visa!.. I understand asking for evidence such as bank statements and payslip for the last 12 months but, not for my tier 1 visa which I got 5 years ago. I also don't understand why ask for the documents that have been submitted and verified by UKBA already. Even if I have to submit those documents, a lot has happened since then- I have changed my bank so, will not be able to get bank statements that's not active now..don't have those payslips...So, how on earth am I going to produce those documents? Or have I misinterpreted the form completely and I don't have to submit evidence.
Any experience on this, please share and suggest.
Thanks in advance for your time, help and kind consideration. God bless!
