ILR application - absences (set O - section 6.2)

Hi,

I will be attending ILR premium service centre appointment in next few weeks. I have 28 days plus bank holiday paid leave annually and been away total 137 days.

I am not sure about weekends in the holidays. Do the weekends count in 180 days when traveling abroad on paid annual leave ?

Yr Departure return Total days (excluding day of dep and return)
2014 29 mar 30 apr 31 (bank holiday 18 and 21 april)
2015 17 apr 10may 22 (4may bank holiday)
2016 28Mar 29 apr 31 (28mar bank holiday)
2017 24 Jun 19Jul 24
2018 20apr 19may 29 (7may bank holiday)

All of the above are paid annual leaves. Will i be ok with year 2014 and and 2016 as working days booked off from work will be less than 28 in every year?

I work 5 days a week. Do the employer absence letter need to mention only the working days off during Annual leave or total days like in the above table ?

thanks in advance

The absence letter only needs to confirm your absence from the UK within the last 5 years (the time you spent OUTSIDE the UK)
It is irrelevant that it was a bank holiday or whatever. Any day spent outside the UK counts towards the 180 days limit

No evidence. You are relying only on the period of your Tier 2 visa for ILR

Set O Form Query.

Hi,

One of the members said that he left the following question blank “Number of hours this salary is based on” in Section 5.6.

I am using Set O form version 07/2018. Section 5.6 page 18 says “You must complete all 5 boxes below if you are applying as a work permit holder, a Tier 2
(General) etc.....”

I do 39 hours a week . Current salary annual 36k. Can any senior members advise how to answer this point correctly asking your salary based on ???

Do we need to mention this in a cover letter so that it's clear?

FAO all senior members, CR001, vinny, zimba.....

My wife received her Tier 2 dependent visa and before she arrive in uk, i switched to ILR from tier 2 general visa. Tier 2 dependent visa is still valid and my spouse will be traveling back to UK with me.

Will it create any problem at arrival in Uk ( because wife visa was granted on the basis of my Tier 2 general visa which is changed to ILR now )

Please reply urgent.......!!!!!!!

I got our tickets booked for next couple of days.
