Hi all,

I am now holding Global Talent Visa. I am working as a teaching&researcher role in a university but on 0.8FTE. I am now going to apply for the ILR but I am very worried whether 0.8FTE does not meet the requirement of the Global Talent Visa route to ILR. Anyone could help? Anyone has the similar experience?

There is no specific requirement.
You simply need to prove you earned money in your field: indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-from-any ... l#p1990369

What's "Have earned money" when apply for ILR on GTV

I have earned money but I am concerned if that's enough money. There is no mention of minimum amount of money. However, there must be a threshold, I assume? Like a couple of months or a certain amount. Any experience or advice?

I showed you the immigration rules which literally say there is not. Simply show that in the last few months you earned money. That is all

Thank you @zimba for your kind advice. I think I just start to overthinking everything. I have two questions regarding my GTV route to ILR.

1) I plan to upload my police registration letter. I know it is not required anymore but I will just do it anyway. My question is that do I need to upload council tax bills or utility bills to prove my address. The reason I asked that is I only have council tax bills that have both my name and my partner's name. If I upload council tax bills, does it mean that I need to sign the Part 2 of consent form because I uploaded something with joint account. Or I do not need to upload council tax bills in this route?

2) I notice that many people on the website have absences letter from the employers. I did not travel in the past three years (I applied after staying these 3 years). So I do not have any record in my passport showing any visas to any other countries. Do I still need to ask for absence letter from the employer? If so, should I ask from the most recent employer or all the employers that I have worked for (I in totally worked for two employers).

Thank you very much for your kind help in this forum.

1. You are advised not to upload unnecessary documents. Documents like council tax, etc are only used as cohabitation evidence. If your dependents are NOT applying with you, there is no need for such a document at all. Just sign part one of the consent form
The police registration requirement has been removed from the rules. In fact, you should destroy that document as per the GOV.UK:
If you have a police registration certificate, you should destroy it before throwing it away, for example by shredding it or cutting it into pieces.
https://www.gov.uk/register-with-the-police

2. Such a document is not required under your route. You do NOT need anything from your employer. That letter is ONLY required for applicants under the Skilled Worker sponsored visa route. Please note the advice given here to other applicants is strictly specific to their route and circumstances.

Thank you for the kind reply. Just got another question. Do I have to have earning in the particular job that I was endorsed for. I changed my job but the field is the same. Does the second job with the same field still count?

I provided the information above in that link. It says you must have 'earned money in the expert field' not a particular job
