Child ILR 7 year route

Dear Admin,

Could you please clarify about the 7-year route child ILR eligibility.

We came to the UK in 2018 that time, my wife was on ICT, and my 4-year-old child was her dependent, and I was on a skilled worker visa.
I received an ILR (in 2023) after 5 years. My wife and daughter were switched as my dependents in 2022, and they are still listed as my dependents.
My wife has not completed 5 years as my dependent, nor a total of 10 years, so she is not eligible for ILR yet.

But my daughter has completed 7 years of continuous residence in the UK, so is she eligible for ILR under the 7-year route?

Thanks in Advance.

There is no automatic 7-year path to ILR for children. The dependant children cannot benefit from the rules under the Appendix Private life rules. They only benefit non-UK born children who have been granted leave under the private life route. The dependant children of migrants will follow the same path as their parents and settle when both parents settle, so in your case it is when your spouse settles.
