First of all thanks to all members who have posted their posts and comments .

My appointment was today , 18 Oct 2011
MY CASE
Work permit Nov 2006 Converted to T1 General in July 2007

DOCUMENTS asked for:
Application form and photos
Life in the UK test for me and wife
Personal bank statements
Payslips and dividend voucher
Certificate of incorporation.
VAT Registration

That's it. I had a suitcase full of docs, but that's all they asked.

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

Appointment was at 10 am
Reached there at 9:20
Airport style security check took 4 minutes
Was told to wait and was given a token reference number and a customer survey form.
My number was called at 9.47

A nice lady was there
she asked for the documents shown above.

said my case was slightly complicated, not sure why she said this.

Then she said to come after 2 hours.

Received docs all stamped at 12:25, slightly longer than their 2.20 hours time frame stipulated for the day.

Thanks to all, and if you have any questions, please ask. may not answer today itself as will be celebrating.

my thanks to all those who have helped in this forum!!!

Hi,
Congrats on your ILR

Just a clarification. What is the format of dividend vouchers and Payslips you submited ? Do they have to be on Limited company headed paper ? I get the Divided voucher on A4 paper from my accountant. Will this be sufficient.

Regards
