hi there,
i have an immigration status document with ILR for 1 year now. on the document states that the immigration status document has been endorsed in the place of a valid national passport and travel document.....

does that mean that i can travel from uk to paris using this document as i do no have a passport?

I think that you will also need a travel document.

You'll need a Schengen visa. The French authorities will require this unless your nationality doesn't require that you have a visa to enter France.
