Hello there

I will apply for my British Citizenship in a month time.Allegedly the process time will take up to 6 months,usually far earlier than that. the question is,first of all,do I have to send my original Iranian passport and Indefinite Leave to Remain Biometric card and will they keep it? also,is there any alternative way to send your documents like certified copies and will they return the original docs back within a time frame? the reason is I might be travelling within 2 months after I make my application and if they are planning to keep all the original documents I have to cancel all future travels until I know about it?

If you apply through NCS they will copy your documents and return originals to you.
