Hello All.
I have just realised that my (Husband not Applicant) passport was renewed in May 2024. Will this be an issue when submitting my passport? Or will I need to try and find my old one and also upload that?
Many Thanks

Thank you Zimba.
I have been reading through what is required tonight and we are going to be going ahead with the application tomorrow and want to be 100% before doing so. I have a few questions
1. Do I need to upload all the applicants old passports (not sure we still have them all) or just current?
2. I noticed some people submitting 2.5 years cohabitation proof for ILR (M). Can I confirm is it 2 or 2.5 years that is required?
3. We have been on a number of holidays. On the application do we only need to mention those longer than 14 day? Also, is it only time outside of the UK since the last visa? If not how many years back will we need to go and have evidence for?
Many Thanks

1. Passports over the last 5 years
2.
All you need to know about cohabitation evidence
3. People under family rules do NOT have any absence limits for ILR. I will not overthink it much. Only enter very long periods of absence over the last 5 years

Thank you for the reply.
With regards to the passports, the current one my wife (applicant) has was issued Jan 2022. I may not have the old passport will this be an issue?

Just going through the application now and it asks. Do you have valid ID from my country of nationality.
My wife (the applicant) has an out of date ID which ran out 2024. Is it worth saying yes and add it? Or say no and leave it out as it is out of date?
Many Thanks

Hello all, hope you are well.
We are now going through the application and have a couple of questions.
1. Do you have any home office reference numbers? We have put No, is this correct?
2. How much do you earn annually before tax? I am on basic plus commission. I have answered this question based on this years P60. Is this ok, or should I just put in the basic (basic is above the requirement)
3. Do you own or rent? Only I (husband) am on the deeds would the applicant put yes? Or neither own or rent and say that I own the property?
Also when we got to the end, we wanted to pay the £500 for priority. For some reason it only gives super priority £1,000. Do you know how to get the priority?

1. Any previous number, e energy a brp number. Not an issue if you dont have one.
2. You must use your current salary foe the last 6 months. Not last financial years one the P60 is based off. Match what your employer letter states.
3. Put no and explain where relevant.
4. The 5 day priority for £500 is not available for SET M applications. You only have the standard option or the £1000 super priority option (which is not a guaranteed service).

Thank you CR001.
With regards to my salary, as mentioned it’s commission so the amounts change each month. I have selected the option different amounts each month above the requirement.
My question is when they ask my salary before tax, you are saying to put what is reflected on my employers letter? The employer’s letter says - my basic salary since the start date on 1st April 2025 plus standard sales commission which can vary from month to month.
So shall o just put the basic? Or what I actually earnt last financial year?
With regards to the priority service, I am sure I saw people on the ILR visa timelines page who had the option of priority as well as super priority.
Many Thanks

Not for SET M applications. The service is not available to your route.
Priority service is for the work based visas using form SET O for example.

Hello CR001, yes you are right. Thanks for conforming.
Can you please let me know what I should put for how much do you earn annually before tax?
The amount of commission I make a year is close to the amount of my basic and the letter from employer states my basic pay, plus varied commission. What would you suggest I put? The basic? Or how much I actually earned last financial calendar year that is on my P60 which I am going to submit?

Thank you all for your help, we are about to push the button and submit the application.
I did have one last question though.
When it asks if you own your property, after it asks how much you pay towards your mortgage?
What is the relevance of this question? Does this effect the income amount required for the application £29,000?
I have put the full amount which is £1,085 which reflects my statements.
Many Thanks

Apologies Zimba if i’m being a bit dopey here, but what claims are you referring to?
So this doesn’t have an impact on the income aspect of the application as long as you are over £29,000?
Many Thanks
