How to Best Reflect the Stamps and Dates

Post by poor_soul » Wed Jan 21, 2026 3:28 pm

Hi Friends,

I came to Ireland on Critical Skills in Dec 2020 and started working.

I was given a stamp at Dublin airport to register by March 2021. It was peak Covid period. IRP appointments were extremely difficult to get. I got the appointment in June 2021. My first IRP is valid from June 2021 to Nov 2021. I was awarded Stamp 4 in Oct 2022 which means my time from December 2020 was recognized.

I have completed five years in Ireland in Dec 2025. I am filling naturalization application. The residency calculator asks for (1) Start date (2) End Stamp (3) Type of the Oldest stamp.

How do I best reflect my time?

Is the stamp from the airport in Dec 2020 count? If yes, what should I select in Type?

How do I show the period between Mar 2021 and Jun 2021?
