Countries recognising a Residence card for entry clearance.

Post by swish » Tue Mar 10, 2009 10:44 am

Hi All,

I have recently found out that some countries (eg. Sweden) recognise a residence card as entry clearance and if you have a residence card then by law they cannot issue any schengen visa.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of any other countries that have the same policy or if there is a list of the countries anywhere online.

Many thanks
swish

So long as you are travelling with/joining your spouse: The Netherlands, Germany, Estonia...
