ILR 10 years residency

Thanks to immigrationboards contributors, very helpful forum.
I have a question, some one who had similar experience may please share their experiance on this.
I came to UK as visitor on 28th Octoer 1999 (Visa valid for 6 months, until March 2000). In Nov/Dec in country dependent visa application refused. Existing visitor visa still valid.
From 24 Jan 2000 to 27 July 2006 permit free visa
27 July 2006 till 27 July 2011 HSMP. I will complete 10 years residence on 28th Oct 2009.
I meet all criteria for 10 year long residency (funds, P60 for 10 years, own home, absences within the set criteria, no ground for any general refusal as per imm rules).
My question is, refusal of dependent visa in 1999 will it have any implications for 10 year ILR application ?(Even with refusal of dependent visa, visitor visa was still vilid until I got permit free visa, therfore no gaps).
Someone was in similar situation before who may kindly share their views please.

Dear nj,

For 10 YR long residency,they require 10 year legal stay in any categories,since yours has been continuous despite the refusal,I still believe you have no problem regarding this issue,so no gap and of course 18 months limit of absence applies.

If going in person,call home office around 6 weeks before the time comes up,they are very busy.

You can actually apply in person on 30th Sept (28 days before 28th of October). That is the earliest possible you could do!. The eariest yoo could call for booking is August 19th

i have never heart P60 is necessary for 10 years ILR application. I made mine on the 14th of sept and did not sent any P60
a friend of mine posted his last year without any P60 and another friend of mine went to PEO and did not give any

the one who posted his application last year had several years gaps but still got his ILR
he came as student around 1998, got married had 1 year marriage visa until 2000 and he got refused ILR on marriage basis
he submitted Turkish ECAA in 2004 and got his visa, kept extend it and applied for ILR on 2008 and got it
