can I use indian salary slip for Tier1 -extension

Post by bentley » Wed Apr 13, 2011 11:42 am

Hi ,
I got my HSMP visa in Sept 2008 for 3 years and now its expiring in sept 2011.

I have come to UK from my Indian employer in Feb2011, I am on full UK salary now(no Indian component paid anywhere) , prior to coming to UK I was getting Indian salary in India.

since, my visa is expiring in sept2011, so I would have only 6-7 months salary to show (from now on ) and due to this I am short of 10 points .
I have got understanding that I can only use those payslips which I earned within UK only.

My query is to explore if I can use my Indian salary slip that i had earned prior to coming to UK in Feb2011, . My view point is , I could use that , then I would be able to get complete points(using both Indian and UK salary slips for 12 months).
Please help me out on this.
Regards
bentley

You can account for out of country salary in the 12 month period but no scaling factor is applicable for extension e.g. if you earned around 3000 GBP equivalent in currency then only 3000 will be considered.

Hi,

so , irrespective of the fact that I have been working for my current employer(based out of India) on Indian payroll for the first 6 months in India, I can still use my Indian pay slips to claim points against my earning.(but scaling would apply) along with my UK pay slips.

also, please let me know the secondment is not going to creat any issue in this scenario.

Hi ,

As per our member , no up lift ratio will be applied but you will put your case to great inquiry and IMO it will all end up in delays.
Thanks
Thanks
