@ batleykhan

Thanks for ur email with the templates, i was reading the document on settlement guidance notes you emailed and i come across the bit where it said you need to subit 3 months wage slips if paid monthly and 6 weeks wage slips if paid weekly.

So in my case i get paid weekly could i apply after i have 6 weeks wage slips?

Im in no rush as my husband was initially due to apply in april with 3 months wageslips but coming across that has made me eager to find out cos im really worried about the changes and if that is correct i can apply before april.

Ur reply would be much appreciated. :)

You know when u submitt your passport with call in letter do u get a new VAC ref number the one that begins with (GRY) because my wife has and I'm really worried just incase they might have messed up please help someone...................???

my husband submit his passport but not sure about vac number but they do give you receipt and take 200 rupee to let you know by taxy or ring you when ur passport is back,we cabt trace that on vac website.
Yes I know that I have got reciept and a new tracking number to I've been able to trace it on the gerrys website it just says forwarded to oc in Islamabad but the VAC ref on the reciept is not matching the one on the call letter that's stressing me
Salam General30,

In relation to your query, I am clueless. My hubby submitted passport after receiving Call Letter however I don't know if the VAC number was same as Call Letter or if it had changed, if at all. I didn't know you could track it, so I didn't ask him to check if the numbers were same, and I don't think he bothered to check too! lol. We were too excited that decision has been over-turned.. it dint even occur to us to check the numbers. Alhumdhulila we have received it back fine. If you feel that it could be an error and it is of a concern then I would advise your wife to go back to Gerry's or where the Passport was sent to clarify. Or whoever prepared your appeal documents (solicitor) should have a better understanding. Its best if you get it checked just in case it complicates things further. I hope this has helped! Best of Luck :D

Yes 6 weeks wage slips should be enough if you have been employed for a year or more with your current employers, however you must try and provide at least 3-6 months of bank statement to go with wageslips

I shouldnt think it would cause any problems but just include all documents for your house as well as the letter from ur parents and the deeds etc u should be fine inshallah.

Also if you have morgage and council tax going out on from ur bank account that will show ur expenses for your own house.

In regards to the number to call to book an appointment i have no idea but im sure someone will be along very soon to help u out as we have lovely people on here :)

Wanted to ask anyone..

Is it better to book an appointment at Gerrys to submit the case or could one just go there upfront in the morning.

I think the fees for going upfront are a little more..

Either way is it imperitive to book an appointment?

I wrote a long reply yesterday and my laptop froze when I pressed the sent button then when i checked it didnt even go through.

Anyways, we still havent heard anything about the Engish my hubby did, my hubby rings the college where he did the exam and they keep saying this day and so on, and then last time he rang he goes the college said that due to the delivery being delayed you should find out Monday/Tuesday and on SLS college website they havent even updated it yet.

Another thing I wanted to ask was will my visa get affected if their is no proof of contact from my hubby to me? I did all the ringing, he did too but using phone cards and you cant submit the phobe cards as they are not proof that he rang me etc...

We both sent letters, cards, emails, and i have printed my call history starting from March 2011-Jan 2011. And I used to ring him everyday couple of times and my call history in total is like 30pages after deleted some lol

Do we have to book it? I thought you could just go there and they shouldnt charge you for it. I read somewhere that if any of these officers ask for money to submit the visa apart from the visa fee we better watch out for them. I will find the link, I think I read it on UKBA website.
