Hi All,

Can any one let me know what Employer information has to be filled in Part B of the OCI application form?

I am currently working as a contractor with my own limited company, in this case, what should I write?

Any one in similar type of employed applied and received OCI if replies would be much appreciated

If you are director of ltd company and taking salary via UK PAYE system you can write name of your company as employer.
If your regd. office address is address of your accountant you can use that address as company's business address as well.

Hi,

I got my OCI granted and send my british passport by post last thursday.

Any idea how long it'll take for the OCI stamp to be done and get my passport back?

Hi All

I have applied OCI for myself along with my wife in person in Birgmingham on 22nd Feb but still not updated anything on their site. Last Update was only scanned on 4rth Apirl . is their anyone else who applied in Birmingham can share timelines here as it seems that London application processed much much faster than Birmingham

This process is painfully slow. My photo was scanned on 29 April, still no news after that. Anyone from Birmingham consulate with similar time scales?

Hi - I am going to embark on OCI journey - need some guidance.
OCI application by post to CGI birmingham - is following the list of documets:

1) Completed and signed application form with photo
2) Photo copies of British Passport (Self Attested)
3) Copy of Naturalization Certificate (Self Attested)
4) Copy of Surrender Certificate (Self Attested)
5) copy of used pages of old indian passport(s)(self attested)

Can anyone advise if above are OK or do i also need to send any original documents at all?

i have been reading the posts in this foum - realllly helpful !!!

No acknowledgement as yet.
Have enquired by e mail.
Response from them on 08/05 was that they were doing applications for 20/03. Have asked me to check after 2-3 weeks.

If you applying through post, apply at London. Birmingham application taking too long to process. Also do send original surrender with SDE .
