Update!:Gooner2017 wrote:I'm in the same boat and timeline with everybody else on this thread. I made my application to transfer my ILR to BRP in Feb 2017, 4 months on I'm still waiting to hear from the Home Office. I wrote them last month and the feedback I received was to contact them again if I don't receive my BRP within the 6 months(from application date) as per their guidelines. Below is my timeline:
Application made: 06/02/2017
Payment taken: 09/02/2017
Brp letter received: 20/02/2017
Brp done: 21/02/2017
Requested update: 23/05/2017
Feedback from HO: 30/05/2017
Upon using online tool I get the following:
https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/ ... visastatus
Your application has been considered and is awaiting a decision.
Like everyone else here I just assumed that since I've got ILR my case would be straight forward and not having to wait this long. I'm just wondering what they have to consider given I already have ILR "settlement".
I'm at the mercy of the HO and still waiting, will update you guys if and when I hear from them.
