i will be applying for my wifes visa entry application and she is still abroad. can i still claim working tax credit and will it affect my wifes visa entry application if the immigration officer see s this on the bank statements.

There's no problem in claiming WTC, apart from the fact that this is given when the income is low. Will you be able show that you are able to meet the minimum finance level for your application?
