Hello Krishna & Others,

What is the "Date of Approval" being mentioned in all the dependent visa timelines?

My wife gave bio-metrics on 02-April. Thereafter we haven't received any letter from UKBA. Will I receive some sort of approval letter from UKBA.

Thanks for help.

Regards.

Date of Approval is 11 Apr for main applicant and dependants in my case.

After giving biometrics, we will not receive approval letter from UKBA. We will receive our passport and documents by post and BRP via courier.

Hope this helps.

Hello Friends,

My wife gave bio-metrics on 04 April and after that there has been no letter from UKBA at all.

Is there a delay/back-log these days?

I applied for my first T1G in March 2010. As far as I can remember the application date was 25/26th March, they returned my stamped passport back after only 9/10 days. I was shocked (obviously in a good way :D ).

I applied for the second leg of the T1G in 26th March 2013 through post, did the bio on 13th, approved on 19th, received the passports on 20th and BRP on 23rd April. It was very quick but still couldn't beat the time they took for the first application back in 2010.
