Post by peacock » Mon Feb 09, 2009 8:51 pm

Hi...Just a quick question...i work for an american company in london, my gross salary is £31,000 pa plus i get £3000 London Weighting, so can i consider my gross salary is £34,000 pa inorder to qualify 35 points or should i just count my basic gross without london weighting? Please advise

I think that your London weighting counts.

Hi,

If London Weighting is shown in yr salary slip, it can be counted in the gross salary..

All the best.

London Weighting

Hi
my payslip doesnt show any gross figures as such apart from YTD (year to date) figures but in the net figures it states south east allowance, so if one calcuates the gross tallies up to £34k

Hi,

If your YTD figures include yr London allowance it should be fine..

Only thing is you need to check your bank statements for the Net figures. I mean it if talies with net figure on salary slip you are safe...
