1 month & 20 days is quite an incredible turn around time as compared to the timelines posted by few others in this thread !
Or is it that UKBA processes the applications for diffrerent categories differently?

invitation letter

Post by thesaint » Sat Oct 04, 2008 10:45 am

Still waiting for my invitation letter nearly 2 weeks now and havent received any thing
When I phoned the office in Liverpool they give me a date to phone again if I still didn’t receive the letter.
anyone can share his experience about the invitation letter I saw people receive their invitation letter within few days after receiving the approval letter

so I am a bit confused now . is it the home office or the council who will send me the letter and what is the average time for it

wish you all the best of luck

It's Home Office who send the letter of invitation to you. Keep chasing it up.

My approval and invitation were on the same piece of paper. It came from the Home Office, but the Council had my details when I called to book the citizenship ceremony. Have you called your Council just to see?

Good luck!
