tier-1 extension fee

Hi guys

I am applying for my tier1 extension next month and just got hold of the form. The payment details page says the fee is £1000 which seems very steep to me considering its just an extension application.

Please let me know if (desperately hoping ) I am wrong ?

Unfortunately you are correct....yes it £1000 for postal application...check the below link
