applyed for irish citizenship no confirmation

Hi,

I submitted the citizenship application for my 16-year-old son but did not received the email confirmation. I have a case number but received no confirmation mail or other replay. Did anyone know who to contact in this case?

I'm not sure if they send out confirmations for minors - didn't have experience.
The obvious question: did you put yours or his email in the application form?

Wait for a few hours after submitting this as well.

Have you applied it online? May be you can see the latest status.

Yes, I did it online and the status is submitted.

That's all you'll get for now, I think.

The proper status update will take a good few weeks/months to arrive.

I submitted an application in my missus’s behalf in late April and we only got the acknowledgment letter along with the evetting link today.

They do these by batches. You’ve probably already seen a lot of status updates in these timeline threads in the past few days, which means they are working on the current batch. If your application isn’t processed in the current batch, it will most likely be included in the next one (December/January).

i submitted my little one's application in June (Online). apart from the online submission acknowledgement , nothing has happened on my kid's case.
i can see progress made for the applications upto April 2024. hopefully yours will be picked up along with the other pending ones in the coming months.
