3 x Family Passport Applications and Original Docs

I have to send my 1st time passport application and for my two sons i.e. 1 x under 18 and 1 x 18+. As our brith place is not UK, we have to attach extra original documents in each application.

A few of the documents for example Marriage Cert. and Father's Birth and Naturalization Cert. is required for each application. As I have to dispatch all applications, how can I provide single original document for each application separately?

Is it possible If I could attach a covering letter, and post all three applications in a single envelop with References of all three applications on the envelope? Anyone who got this experience before and been succesful?

As a naturalised Brit, your claim to British citizenship and a British Passport (travel document), is your naturalisation certs. in this case, for all of you.
Marriage certs and fathers birth certs are not required for yourself and any of your kids (Except kids are getting passport based on claim that parent is British).

If you like, you could add a covering letter mentioning the other applications reference numbers linked to yours.

The system isn't perfect and might have generated the request based on how you must have filled the form.

Actually I have already filled the applications and submitted.

The list of documents is generated from HMPO to submitt, I can't pick and choose.

Only thing as you mentioned is to attach a covering letter but it all depends on their system how they treat it and might reject or delay the applications.

Now I have filled an enquiry form to enquire about the situation directly from HMPO webpage. Let's see what they advise!

Applying as part of a family or couple
If you’re applying as part of a family or couple, send all the documents together in the same envelope.

This helps to keep your applications together, which is important if you have to send the same document for more than one application.

How to send your documents
Put all the documents together in a strong envelope. List each application reference number on the front, above the address.

Where to send your documents
If each person in the group has been given a different address, you can send the documents to any of the addresses we’ve given you.

If someone has to have their identity confirmed
Don’t send the documents until their identity has been confirmed. You’ll get an email when that’s complete and we’re ready to receive the documents.

Also received reply for my enquiry from HMPO within 5 hours of query as follow:

Thank you for your email regarding sending your documents.
If documents are required for more than one application. You can send all relevant documents in the 1 envelope, along with a cover letter confirming each application number, the names on the applicants who they correspond to and which documents are required for both applications. Once received the applications can be linked for all relevant documents to be checked on each application.
