Arrested but no further action .please help and advice

Hi everyone I’m new in group ,and I’m asking for advice on someone's behalf. Person is due to apply for Naturalisation in few weeks time but got arrested for assault by beating (untrue allegations from his wife ,make up )it was only verbal argument ...then he had interview and released without any charge, caution or warning ,released with no further action and back living with his wife and all good . Could anyone please advise that how can it affect Naturalisation application. And also does the arrest needs to be mentioned on the application? Thanks in advance .please help especially for people who had similar issues.

No need to mention an arrest with NFA. It will not effect the application. No where in the AN online form it asks to declare an arrest with NFA. It only asks to declare an arrest for which you have been charged or a trial is ongoing.

Oh thank U very much about your reply .I was very very worried because some people they told me need to be honest and declare it in cover letter ...so I don’t need to declare or mention anything in my application .thanks again

Hi cullinan .did I need to whrite cover letter or no need to do anything and just forget about it and do the application it’s like nothing happen

My friend was arrested and released on bail. He was on bail for 6 months. After 6 months, case was NFA’d (no warning, no caution). I asked him not to declare anything as NFA is not a criminal conviction. An arrest alone does not make one a criminal. His application was successful just a couple months back.
Obviously I am sharing my understanding and own personal experience. No where in the AN online form it asks to declare an arrest with NFA.

You can make an informed decision. Even if you declare, it will not have any effect on your application.

Really I do believe u and thank u very much for your help and support.i was asking just to be sure bcs some people was asking me to do cover letter bcs was assault by beating....but now I will not do nothing and just forget about it .thank u very much brother Cullinan
