Ceremony at British Consulate Los Angeles

My approval is on its way to me in the US c/o the embassy in Washington DC. (i included a UK prepaid recorded delivery envelope but I have since found out that UKBA isn't allowed to send documents internationally but instead send by dispatch to local embassy who then send the documents in the provided SAE so it's important to enclose envelope with 'local' stamps)

Is anyone able to tell me how they made an appointment for the ceremony at the Consulate in LA? There isn't a phone number to ask and the only information I can find is that an on-line appointment form should be submitted. The only form available specifically states that it is to be used only for notorial services.

Has anyone dealt with this? Many thanks.
