Deadline for booking biometrics - UKVCAS

Hi All
I submitted my application online for Neutralization in Nov 2020. According to the application, "Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 11 January 2021". I booked appointment with UKVI on 5 Jan 2021. However, I had to cancel this a day before the appointment because of the new lock down measures as UKVI centre was in a different city than mine (I know its an essential service and their offices are open).

This is not possible to book a new UKVI slot by 11 Jan as there is no availability.

I wonder if UKVI will cancel my neutralization application and I will loose my fee and have to reapply?

You can still travel to a different city for your appointment. You should have waited before UKVCAS cancelled your appointment themselves. But worry not, given corona, you will not be penalised for late biometrics. Ignore the deadline and book the earliest available again that will be 4th Feb now unless there are any cancellations.
