Registering for a British Citizenship

Hi,
I am a new member and would firstly like to thank this discussion board as it has been very useful to me in the past.

I have a British Overseas Citizenship, with ILR (since October 2011), I also have the LIUK certificate.
I want to now apply for the British Citizenship and I want advice on whether I can register for a British Citizenship or do I have to go through the Naturalisation route.
I have read the UKBA site and I feel that I am eligible for registering as a British Citizen by filling in the BOTA form.
I would appreciate if someone could confirm this for me. Your help is much appreciated.
